As the Sr. Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the acquisition and analysis of all business metrics at Elance. As part of a small, talented team of analysts, you will work very closely with the internal teams and play a key role in enhancing Elance's utilization of the business metrics toward product strategy, business optimization and enhancements.
Responsibilities
•Proven ability to identify actionable KPIs applied to business strategy with successful results
•Able to analyze complex data and communicate the resulting insights with clarity. Someone who can "tell the story", not just present numbers
•Apply expertise in statistical inference, data mining, and visual presentation of data to help inform and support our business and product decisions
•Develop models and reports and monitor the validity of the data across various data stores
•Work closely with business users and product managers to utilize business metrics toward product strategy, business optimization, and issue resolution
Qualifications
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in business data analysis
•Bachelor's degree in engineering or mathematics is required
•Strong skills in Excel, Data Visualization, Statistical Analysis, Data Mining, RDBMS, and SQL
•Strong intellect and high energy with a passion for driving results
•Unquestioned integrity and work ethic
•Curious, analytical and strategic; enjoys solving complex problems
•Exceptional communication skills
•Team oriented
