Successful client seeking Java Developer with 10+ years of experience for 3+ month contract! Will lead development teams in the development and implementation of internal applications.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 10 years JAVA/OOA/OOD.
- 6+ years J2EE (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC).
- 6+years development experience.
- 4+ years Web Experience (Velocity, JavaScript, HTML, XML).
- 4+ years Struts (prefer Struts 2).
- Some Web 2.0 (preferably AJAX, DOJO, Yui, JSF Frameworks, richFaces, Tomahawk).
- 3-tier Client Server Architecture.
- Mobile App Development.
- Spring Framework.
- JBoss or similar (Weblogic).
- 4+ years Oracle DB, UNIX, Windows.
- Shell Scripting.
- Familiarity with ClearCase, ClearQuest, or Jira.
- Eclipse Java5.
- Ability to read and understand UML Design Diagrams.
- Hibernate.
- Data Integrator.
- Ultra Edit.
Responsibilities:
- Help Project Manager to gather technical requirements for projects.
- Occasionally design working with an Architect on IT projects.
- Communicate status, issues, concerns, recommendations, designs, and technical decisions to business stake holders.
- Monitor/Lead other Developers in implementation of the projects.
