Channel Impact is seeking a Partner Program Manager to manage our client's new Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Program. This is an exciting role, where you'll be working side-by-side with one of the hottest security companies in Silicon Valley.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Building the overall global MSSP channel program framework, policies and processes to scale the MSP/MSSP goals of the client
- Owning and creating the overall MSSP program including requirements, benefits, governance and policies to scale
- Defining the field Rules of Engagement for working with approved MSPs
- Establishing the MSP discount structure and governance process including standard rules for deals desks
- Establishing overall policy for Not for Resale (NFR) program that supports MSP business as well as resale; modify NFR program if needed to accommodate MSP go-to-market
- Educate deals desk on MSP policies to ensure consistent treatment across deals and geographies
- Work collaboratively with legal, finance and operations to make sure processes for MSP are optimized
- Serve as overall coordination point for collecting MSP program feedback and closed loop for making needed changes
- Gaining 1) market traction and 2) consistency in implementation of MSP program
- Suggesting and revising MSSP program elements to keep it relevant and leading edge in supporting Palo Alto go-to-market through MSPs
Skill sets Experience:
Experience building partner programs from the ground up is strongly preferred
Experience working with Managed Service Providers
Strong operational and organizational skills required: ability to successfully build and implement a channel program working across all the appropriate parties such as Sales, Finance, Operations, Web/Portal development and the like.
Strong attention to detail required.
Strong people skills: ability to lead with confidence and professionalism. Must interface with multiple levels of management, partners and customers.
Self-starter and ability to work at the strategic and tactical level
Strong analytical / ROI skill-set: experience measuring channel program performance and promotional investments.
Experience in managing multiple tasks of varying difficulty and complexity.
Should be able to effectively communicate to all constituencies and levels in written and verbal formats; must be a team player.
