We are looking for a Budget Manager to work in the events marketing team at a global high technology company. The Marketing Budget Manager will be responsible for tracking expenses against the events budgets, accruals, forecasting and reporting.
This is a 40 hr/week, 1 year role (extensions possible) onsite at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Obtain events team budgets and track budget details
• Report against budgets on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Track, in detail, expenditures against budgeted amounts
• Resolve all budget exceptions, working with the cross functional team
• Create accruals, as appropriate
• Work with the enterprise financial systems
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role, at a global high technology company.
• Detailed understanding of financial process flows and budget impacts
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting procedures; proficient in Excel
• Organized, detailed focus, process oriented, and able to multitask.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, globally
• Bachelors degree (required), in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
