As a result of their expansion we are seeking a successful, proven enterprise software sales professional to join their team. Position title: Account Executive

Location: Anywhere in U.S.

Position description:

The Account Executive is responsible for executing the sales process resulting in new business bookings with clients located across the U.S. The Account Executive will pursue sales opportunities and build a qualified pipeline by utilizing the company's sales process and methodology, and coordinate all internal and external sales activities required to move opportunities from lead qualification to close. This includes prospect qualification, completing RFP/RFQ proposals/requests for complete solution offerings for customers, contract negotiations, etc. required. Leads are provided by the company and your focus will be on hunting, nurturing, and closing the opportunities.

Position responsibilities:

Meet and exceed goals and expectations as assigned

Lead qualification and follow-up. Sales execution using the company sales methodology resulting in close deals in a timely manner. Updating of Salesforce.com.

Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into qualified lead opportunity

Perform needs discovery with new prospects and document findings

Sales strategy creation based on needs discovery and the company's value

Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

Support creation of the customer's value proposition

Solution and Implementation scope validation, cost estimation and proposal creation

Contract creation and negotiation

Effective sales to service transition

Assist in trade shows, conferences and industry events as required

Identify customer roadmap solution requirements and share appropriate information with internal departments

Strive to become a company product, technology, operations and logistics domain subject matter expert

Desired/required skills:

8-10+ years' successful experience with a proven track record in enterprise application software sales

Experience selling offerings in one of the areas of supply chain, transportation, logistics, warehouse management, EDI, etc. a huge plus but not a must

Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills

Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution management skills

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and follow-up

Ability to effectively qualify new business opportunities, formulate and execute strategies

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Highly motivated, results driven and able to work independently

Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study.
