- We're searching for the Channel Rock Star who knows how to build relationships and implement programs for our client's partner ecosystem to grow sales. In this role, you'll be responsible for building partner relationships with Marketing, executing partner marketing programs, campaigns, events, communications, and enablement to drive revenue and new business goals through partners in North America. This includes planning, developing, and implementing all programs working with the CAM team while also driving the management of the partner marketing infrastructure (e.g, partner portal). This individual must have high energy, strong organizational / project management skills, be able to multi-task and communicate effectively to multiple levels.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for building and implementing Channel Marketing lead generation plan, process, programs, and reporting
Manage the Marketing Development Fund (MDF) program
Develop, design, and define measurements for marketing programs.
Monitor the execution of all channel-marketing programs by working closely with the CAMs
Responsible for the management and content development of partner portal in coordination with the corporate web site
Responsible for the partner communications key messages and maintaining the partner contact list
Responsible for working with Training, Sales, and Support to build an onboarding program for new partners and ensure they are productive as quickly as possible
Drive and establish promotions and programs to increase partner productivity
Responsible for working with the training team on building an appropriate accreditation program that drives partner growth and performance.
·Monitor, track ongoing channel partner activities and key metrics defining success of channel strategies
·Work with other Marketing functions to create partner enablement material including co-branded collateral and packaged / bundled campaigns.
· Work with PMM and Channel Ops to develop category expertise that includes product knowledge, product demand, pricing direction, roadmaps, price points, bundling opportunities, funding programs and the competitive landscape
Responsible for interacting with other Marketing functions (Product Marketing, Direct Marketing and Alliance Marketing, Marcom), Finance, Sales and Sales Support, and Operations to develop, communicate, promote and support partner programs.
Desired Skills And Experience: Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.)
6 years of marketing experience in channel/indirect marketing in an Information Technology (IT) industry working with Services Providers, Systems Integrators, or a medium to large VARs and VADs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of Channel ecosystem – VAD, VAR, ISV, SI
Strong operational and organizational skills required: ability to successfully build and implement a channel program working across all the appropriate parties such as Sales, Finance, Operations, Web/Portal development and the like.
Experience in marketing program and demand generation activities including events, webinars, and digital marketing
Success in the execution of effective channel marketing campaigns
Strong hands-on experience using marketing automation to send emails invites/newsletters – Marketo experience is needed
Strong attention to detail required.
Strong people skills: ability to lead with confidence and professionalism. Must interface with multiple levels of management, partners and customers.
Self-starter and ability to work at the strategic and tactical level
Strong analytical / ROI skill-set: experience measuring channel program performance and promotional investments.
Experience in managing multiple tasks of varying difficulty and complexity.
Experience with enterprise customer marketing is highly preferred.
Should be able to effectively communicate to all constituencies and levels in written and verbal formats; must be a team player.
Some travel required
