We are a hardware startup made up of key engineers from Apple. We are looking for strong, full-time engineers to start immediately and help launch our first consumer product.

Director of Customer Acquisition

Overview:

The Director of Customer Acquisition will lead our online acquisition efforts to create and amplify our paid and earned marketing efforts. The role encompasses multi-channel investments, including SEO, SEM, Display, affiliates, Paid Social, Video, Mobile, the identification of new channel opportunities. The overall goal for this individual, and the company, is to develop scalable acquisition efforts and maintain efficient CPA's within a multi-channel model.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Strategy Allocation

• Recommend overall by-channel investment levels on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis

• Evaluate overall performance of channels relative to entire acquisition funnel

• Identify, design, develop manage the infrastructure, partners, systems necessary for success

Media Buying

• Partner with DSP's Ad Networks to execute media plans maximize output

• Manage ad serving capability

• Social media buying (FB, Insta, YouTube, etc)

• Optimize based on analytic insights for frequency, length to purchase, purchase paths, creative rotation, etc

Analytics

• Deliver weekly, monthly reporting against all KPI's

• Partner with multi-channel attribution tool to assess performance relative to overall model

• Develop manage seamless tracking reporting

New Channel Development

• Identify and qualify new investment areas to acquire customers efficiently

• Create optimize testing plans calendar

Creative Optimization

• Manage the optimization of creative adaptations, executions across all channels

• Partner with creative design resources to develop execute new concepts

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree

5+ Years experience in online media/marketing

Experience in strategic role leading online acquisition efforts (e-commerce, direct-to-consumer preferred)

Start-up experience preferred, but not required

Proven track record driving B2C customer acquisition in a consumer-facing model

Fluent understanding of Google Analytics multi-channel attribution modeling

Experience managing DSP's, ad networks, Google Ad words, social, native

Expert understanding of core eCommerce online media KPI's

Must-have traits: leader, proactive, diligent, willingness to roll up your sleeves, agile, strategic
