As a result of this company's continued expansion we are seeking talented and experienced product marketing professional for this exciting opportunity:
Position title: Director of Product Marketing
Location: Anywhere in U.S.
THIS IS A VIRTUAL OFFICE POSITION
Position description:
In this role you will lead the company's product marketing efforts and be a key a part of introducing and positioning offerings to the competitive market.
Position responsibilities:
• Develop enterprise solution positioning and messaging that differentiates the company's products and offerings in the competitive marketplace
• Communicate the value proposition of the solutions to the sales team and develop the sales tools and collateral that support the selling process
• Partner with the marketing team to build a strategic messaging framework that can be used as the backbone for content creation, go-to-market campaigns and communications with external stakeholders to demonstrate our unique value and right to win
• Define detailed customer/prospect personas with pain points, messaging strategies, and where each persona fits in the buying process for the product. Apply this knowledge intelligently throughout the company to ensure engagement and conversion
• Collaborate with marketing to define a go-to-market strategy for enterprise customers, and deliver compelling campaigns. Plan the launches of new products and releases and manage the cross functional implementation and execution of the plan. Have expertise on how to position and win against competitors with an understanding of customer needs.
• Work with product management and the sales teams to ensure that product messaging is aligned with product capabilities and buyer needs
Required skills:
• 7+ years of global product marketing experience with enterprise software products. Specific experience with security software offerings is required.
• Experience managing a product marketing team
• Experience in building enterprise go-to-market plans and developing product and solutions positioning and messaging
• Strong technical aptitude
• Proven ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision
• Experience of working cross functionally in a matrix environment, including executive interaction
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel for tradeshows and industry events
