Role: Product Marketing Communication Manager

Location: Remote Worker, Preferably West Coast

Time Commitment: Full Time

We are looking for a Product Marketing Storyteller who will support the transformation of how our client talks about the subscription based economy, data driven automation and partner enablement by creating engaging content to communicate the client's capabilities, business benefits and drive awareness and demand.

What You'll Be Doing

Are you a great storyteller? Can you translate technology concepts into easy to understand content that targets different audiences? Are you looking for the opportunity to change the way targeted audiences hear your messages? Then this you may be the right candidate for this position. You will need an overall knowledge of the technology industry and market trends and monitor and report on the competition. In this role you will be expected to create highly impactful content targeted at specific audiences relative to a specific technology or business area. 


This is the job for you if are skilled at:

-Working closely with key internal client stakeholders (sales teams, regional and local marketing, solutions marketing, product management and technical experts) to create targeted content and a consistent product release communications process.

-Consolidate regional specific needs, gaps and requirements into a global plan

-Creating content using templates and guidelines to adhere to brand, journeys, targeted personas, creative platform guidelines. This includes but is not limited to, training materials, release notes, blogs, white papers, case studies, social media posts, ebooks, infographics and videos.

-Testing the content to ensure that it is impactful with the client's audience.

-Actively monitoring content that is available or under development both globally and in other countries.

-Reviewing project documentation, messaging objectives, product and solution customer benefits.

-Contributing to the global marketing community in your given topic area and serve as a subject matter expert to the regions.

-Tracking general business indicators, including market share, adoption and competitor's marketing and sales program activities.

-Working via design resource or directly with agencies for final content creative and production.

Desired Skills:

Highly creative with a proven ability to develop and manage engaging and original content through different channels.

-Excellent organization and project management skills (editorial calendars, deadlines, vendor/agency management, budgets).

-Driven, self-started with the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.

-Comfortable collaborating with global/regional/local colleagues as part of a physical or virtual team.

Ability to motivate and influence others.

-Regularly uses project management tools such as Smartsheet, spreadsheets, etc.

-Ability to make web updates, including creating content, using JIVE.

Minimum Qualifications:

-2-5 years of professional content writing and marketing experience in the technology industry (either B2B or B2C). Examples will be requested.

-Ability to demonstrate awareness of the latest marketing and customer success trends (outward focused).

-Broad technology awareness with an understanding of basic wireless and networking concepts as well as marketing automation technologies.

-Ability to collaborate, lead and work in a fast-paced matrixed organization.

-An established track record of developing impactful marketing content and communications process from conception through to execution.

-Strategic and tactical expertise in product release communications.

-Experienced in copywriting and editing whilst adhering to brand and tone of voice guidelines.

-Experienced in all stages of creating a successful content campaign i.e. planning, strategy, execution and distribution.

-Fluent in English.
