The office of Charles F. Bloszies is looking for an Office Manager with exceptional talent to join our small architectural design firm. We do work that ranges from tenant improvements and retail design to multimillion dollar mixed use projects. We work on both new and historic buildings, mostly in downtown San Francisco. Our newly-designed office is on the Promenade Level of the Embarcadero Center in an open, light-filled space indicative of the type of interior design we do.
We are looking for a person with strong organizational skills to support our core people and run the administrative side of our firm. Duties will include executive assistant support for the firm's Principal and senior staff, human resource activities, event planning, coordination with our IT service provider, business development assistance, research, ordering of office supplies, and receptionist/clerical duties.
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- 3-5 years minimum experience as an office manager (or similar position), an interest in architecture
- A wide range of abilities including clerical and marketing proficiency and phone etiquette
- Superlative computer skills, including complete mastery of the MS Office suite of programs
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design)
- A flexible personality
