Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Visual Designer to work onsite for a major technology partner in Mountain View, CA. This is a full-time consulting opportunity, working onsite at the client location.
Responsibilities:
Creation of visual design for assigned web projects
Collaborate with team members and other cross-functional teams to translate stated strategic and customer experience objectives into new site pages and/or effective design solutions
Design and manage ongoing website updates
Skills:
6-9 years' experience as a Visual Designer (current work samples are required for this role)
Strong visual design, layout, and typographic skills with a sharp attention to detail
Production skills including graphic optimization and asset management
Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design, web usability principles and information architecture
Understanding of the principle of graphic user interface (GUI) design, capabilities of different platforms/browsers, design constraints on the web, experience in mobile and tab design a must
Experience with Agile a plus
Bachelors in Graphic Design or similar degree
Experienced user of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Working knowledge of UI/UX Design, GUI and Web Technologies
Rate:
D.O.E. as a w2 employee of Crawford Group-benefits available
Duration:
Full time consulting starting, 2/1/17 – 1/31/18. No phone calls, please.
Location:
Fully onsite at clients' office in Mountain View, CA.
