Events Manager (San Mateo, CA)
We are looking for an Events manager for a start up in San Mateo, CA. The Events manager will be responsible for the planning, programming and logistics management for US tradeshows and smaller events. Additionally, the Events manager will collaborate with others on events in other parts of the world.
This is a 40 hours per week; 6 month contract to perm role, onsite in San Mateo, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Management of all event planning, deliverables and logistics for US tradeshows and events
• Work with business owners to establish business goals for each event
• Vendor negotiation
• Budget management; reporting analysis
• Providing on-site logistical and other event support (shipping booths/give aways)
Requirements:
• 5+ years of corporate event and tradeshow management experience
• Experience with B2B high tech companies and events
• Collaborative, high energy, and extreme attention to detail; flawless execution
• Experience with start up companies/environments
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Travel to 2 to 3 events in the US
