We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will drive the management, execution and success of AlterG's marketing communications initiatives, including developing of strategic messaging and marketing programs, sales success programs, representation at conferences and events, PR initiatives, and in social media. The candidate will work with the Senior Director of Marketing and the supporting Marketing team to identify and leverage opportunities to drive sales and gain mindshare for the company and technology.
The ideal person has refusal to fail attitude; balancing a team-oriented, collaborative approach with the right measure of assertiveness. The candidate will a have a high tolerance for quickly shifting priorities and thrive in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate in this role will see challenges as opportunities and not be comfortable settling for the status quo. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Content development and Sales support
- Work with internal (Sales, Clinical and Marketing teams) and external (creative and public relations agencies) resources to help develop and manage targeted marketing and sales materials and campaigns, PowerPoint presentations, and related collateral to drive sales
- Manage development of video content for sales and clinical teams
- Drive the development of key messaging, writing, and editing of new marketing materials (website content, brochures, white papers, press releases, presentations, etc.).
- Write, develop, and distribute downstream email marketing campaigns (for lead generation/nurturing and customer campaigns)
• Public relations
- Triage all incoming media requests; respond, deflect, or coordinate our engagement with customers
- Manage PR firm in gaining high return, earned placements in consumer and vertical media. Manage media tools, such as b-roll, press kit, photography, etc.
- Supply tools and support media partners as they build compelling stories
• Event management
- Manage Marketing Coordinator in overall management and execution of trade show and event participation. Oversee triage of incoming event requests; deflect - or respond and coordinate AlterG' participation based on budget and business priorities
- Manage prospective medical conference participation to achieve maximum ROI
• Digital and Social media
- Work with Marketing Coordinator to drive development and growth of social media program that drives engagement and sales for AlterG and our customers.
- Help Marketing Coordinator drive development of blog program with input from various departments and partners
- Plan and drive engagement in conversations throughout social media platforms
- Manage website updates
- Track and analyze and report website statistics
Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years in healthcare, wellness or active lifestyle marketing communications management
• Exceptional project management skills, high sense of urgency and strong results orientation
• A quick study who works well independently and with little direction
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and tactically and switch between the two effortlessly
• Quickly assess project needs, identify resources necessary for implementation and collaborate for a successful outcome
• Medical device, rehabilitation, kinesiology or athletic industry experience is a bonus
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
Travel required: 25%
