PR Specialist (Santa Cruz, CA)
We are looking for PR Specialist to support PR activities for global high tech company in Santa Cruz, CA. The PR Specialist will draft press releases, interact with media outlets, manage intranet content, ship products for reviews, help with PR event prep and work with executives to build awareness for the company. This role reports to the PR Manager.
This is a 40 hours per week; 12 month role (extensions likely) onsite in Santa Cruz, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
• Write press releases that support company activities and messaging
• Work with executives to plan for PR activities
• Work directly with media outlets to place stories and other PR deliverables
• Ship products for demos/reviews
• Create and post content to intranet site
• Assist with social media plan execution
Requirements:
• 2-3+ years in high tech PR/communications teams
• Prior experience with a PR agency, preferred
• Proven, writing skills and communication skills
• Detailed oriented, able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines
• Ability to interact with senior executives and external stakeholders
• Strong project management skills
