Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a contract to hire Program Manager-Marketo to join our San Francisco based clients' Corporate Marketing team. The Manager is an expert of our clients' marketing automation platform and identifies opportunities to fully leverage its functionality. 


The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of campaigns in Marketo. He/she is responsible for configuring the system to support complex campaign data handling processes based on business needs. You'll be designing, implementing, and managing marketing automation production projects including emails, landing pages, lists, automation flows, reports and other production-related deliverables.


The Program Manager-Marketo is a key contributor to achieving operational excellence within the Corporate Marketing team. You'll be working with a global marketing team that uses cutting edge technology to make decisions. 


Seeking a strong marketing automation project manager who is entrepreneurial in spirit, is consultative and who navigates a workday with a positive attitude. 


Responsibilities: 


Respond in timely manner to automated traffic requests for campaigns from internal requestors, prioritize work stream based on deadlines 


Design, test, deploy and measure campaigns in Marketo. Includes creation of campaign names, tracking URLs, attributes and hierarchy structure following standard practices to ensure consistent reporting, build emails using standard templates, create landing pages and forms.


Maintain a campaign calendar to track both production schedule and workload


Build campaign lists using data in both Marketo and Salesforce.com. Ensure lists are targeted and frequency of communications adhere to the company's privacy policies. 


Standardize, cleanse and upload lists gathered from events (tradeshows) and other sources


Recommend and execute tests to optimize campaigns and programs, including reporting and interpreting results of tests


Set up, test, maintain and evolve multiple complex nurture based marketing campaigns, including developing and implementing collision controls 


Maintain lead scoring programs, recommend and implement improvements


Collaborate with internal stakeholders and representative from Marketo to implement best practices; make recommendations to optimize existing marketing automation production performance


Communicate effectively and manage projects, timelines, processes and results at all times


Skills: 


3-5 years of experience managing marketing automation programs and campaigns at a B2B company. 


Technology company experience a plus. 


Marketo marketing automation expertise required (Marketo certification a plus.) 


Experience with database quality management and workflows that include multiple systems 


Working knowledge of Marketo integration with Salesforce CRM required


HTML and JavaScript skills a plus


Ability to look across solutions and identify areas for process improvements and standardization 


Outstanding project management skills in a high-volume project environment. Must have the flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on deadline 


Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and time management skills


Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision, highly organized and detail-oriented


Excellent workload prioritization skills. Must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, ability to adapt and learn quickly


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Location:


3-4 day's onsite at clients' office in San Francisco, CA. No phone calls, please.


Duration:


Fully onsite at clients' office in San Francisco, CA. Full time consulting ASAP – up to April 28, 2017, converting to full time/direct employee of client following consulting period.
