 Solutions Marketing Manager – Sales Playbooks (Sunnyvale, CA) 


We are looking for a Solutions Marketing Manager for a contractor role at a large, global B2B high tech company. The role is focused on the development and rollout of sales playbooks for key solutions areas. The Solutions Marketing Manager will be responsible for working with the stakeholder team to define the components of the sales playbook for each solution, assessing existing content and working with a vendor on the development of required content, and project managing the internal reviews. Additionally, the Solutions Marketing Manager will manage the rollout of the sales playbooks to the field and manage adoption.


This is a 20 to 25 hours per week; 5 month contract (extensions possible) onsite in Sunnyvale, CA (2 or 3 days per week). This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.


Responsibilities:


• Understand the solution areas for which the sales playbooks are to be created.


• Define the appropriate components for each sales playbook, working with the stakeholder team.


• Research existing solution content and assess applicability for sales playbooks


• Work with external vendor on the development of the sales playbooks


• Manage internal reviews of sales playbooks, ensuring timely completion


• Manage the external vendor on the production of the final sales playbooks


• Manage field rollout of sales playbooks 


• Develop and execute plans to foster adoption and sales traction of sales playbooks and solution selling


Requirements:


• 5+ years experience as a Solutions Marketing Manager, developing and managing the rollout of sales enablement tools. 


• Strong background in enterprise solutions from companies such as NetApp, Cisco, Dell/EMC, IBM, Hitachi, HP, etc.


• Strong project/program management skills; ability to be persuasive to ensure time lines are met 


• Strong writing and content creation skills to provide appropriate reviews of materials.


• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams.


• Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.


• BS degree
