[KITlist] CONTR: Services Product Manager (Anywhere)
We are looking for a seasoned Services Product Manager for an opportunity at a midsized high tech company. This is a primarily an inbound services product management role for services attached to hardware and software products.
This is a 20 hour/week, 6 months (extensions are likely) role, as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Contractor may be located anywhere in the US, but client has a preference for Denver, CO location.
Responsibilities:
•Services product planning for maintenance and support services on hardware and software products
•Prepare and execute on go-to-market plans, including positioning, pricing, sales training, and marketing.
•Generate and review content for outbound marketing material
•Manage cross-functional relationships for the development of new services and to enable the services to launch to market
Requirements:
•5 + years of prior experience in services product management, in a high technology company
•Deep experience with services business models
•Services pricing experience
•Proven track record in taking services to market
•Demonstrated success leading large, multi-discipline projects with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
•BS/BA required

This position will be responsible for the overall Socialtext marketing strategy and execution, including positioning, messaging, branding, lead generation, and product marketing. The VP/CMO will be a key member of the executive team and manage a growing a team of dedicated marketing employees, as well as recruit and optimize external resources to cover functions such as PR, design, writing, media buying, etc.
We are looking for an exceptional professional with deep experience in b2b software marketing. SaaS and social technology and Enterprise experience a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide a revised marketing strategy and plan for the 2013/2014 timeframe, and beyond.
Build out a highly effective team of internal and external resources, spanning across all major marketing disciplines.
Monitor lead generation success, public relations traction, social media footprint, and general sales enablement progress.
Direct and manage the marketing team to perform per the established scorecard criteria.
Provide guidance to the leadership team regarding the strategic direction of the company.
Work closely with other members of the management team to drive marketing and sales performance.
As a member of the leadership team, reinforce a culture of collaboration, hard work, and success across the rapidly growing company.
Qualifications include:
8-10 years minimum experience in marketing and management.
Deep experience and success record with social, mobile, cloud-based offerings to the enterprise market.
Strong understanding of lead generation, inbound marketing, social media marketing, and ROI models.
Ability to build out a diverse and high-performing team.
Abilities to manage the functional team, as well as across the different levels of the organization.
Presence to represent the company with analysts, the press, customers, and other external parties.
At least 5 years marketing technology products to Human Resources and/or Line of Business buyers.

Position title: Account Manager

Position description:
In this role the Account Manager will call on a set of accounts in the SMB space located anywhere across the globe, and sell the company's SAAS software offerings. The candidate will have some existing accounts, but the focus will be on new accounts and driving new revenue.
Required/desired skills:
-5+ years of software sales experience with a proven track record of success and quota achievement. Experience selling any type of e-commerce, web-centric- call center, or contact center software offerings.
-Some recent software sales experience with SAAS products preferred. Experience selling to SMB market or to larger companies focused on SMB market a big plus
-Strong organizational, communication and negotiation skills
-Ability to align company solutions to prospects needs
-Ability to understand prospect needs, competitor's offerings and position company offerings
-Meet/exceed quarterly revenue targets through prospecting for new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers
-Meet high level management of customer expectations and ability to adhere to tight deadlines is essential
-Proven track record in structuring & negotiating large complex e-commerce software solution sales
-Ability to discuss products and solutions in relation to the needs of the targeted applications at all levels of an organization
-Ability to demonstrate company offerings and help decision makers visualize how they can achieve goals & solve problems
-Maintain all relevant data in Salesforce.com automation tool to track opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts

Position title: Strategic Account Manager
Location: Colorado or Southern California
Position description:
This outside sales role is focused on selling to a set of named, large enterprise accounts and involves direct selling and managing them to closure. This includes working with prospects and customers and executing an effective territory strategy that drives product and services revenue growth. This position will cover the Western region of the U.S. and will require 50% travel within the territory. Candidates must have working experience selling business intelligence software from companies such as Oracle, IBM/Cognos, SAP/Business Objects, Microsoft, Informatica, Microstrategy, Information Builders, etc. or others with experience with Oracle and/or Siebel e-business applications to qualify for this role.
Position responsibilities:
•Direct sales of software and services into a general business account territory
•Management and development of installed customer accounts
•Territory planning and forecasting of enterprise accounts
•50% travel within the assigned territory
•Working effectively in a virtual team environment (with sales consulting, consulting, inside sales & support)
Required skills:
•5-7+ years of successful enterprise software applications sales required. Experience selling major business intelligence software platform a must.
•Some sales experience selling ERP, CRM, business intelligence and/or data warehousing software solutions is required
•High-energy personality with drive and "hunter" mentality is a must
•Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
•Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a sales pipeline to appropriate levels
•Working technical knowledge of BI tools and architectures
•Ability to communicate effectively with both IT and end user departments
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in software sales
Ideal candidates for this role are those with BI experience from companies such as Oracle, IBM/Cognos, Business Objects, Informatica, etc. Others selling ERP applications from Oracle are also of strong interest.
