The following position is a 6 month contract assignment with potential to become a permanent full time position.
Job Description
Manage the implementation, development, and administration of business application systems for internal customers including; Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical and other departments in a regulated environment. Responsibilities will include project management of key IT related business initiatives.
Responsibilities
Help with the design and planning of IT systems implementations.
Administration of local US specific applications as well as the on-going evolution of those applications. Ensure adherence to corporate policy as well as local business needs.
Create and edit batch scripts to automate business processes and data transfers between company and our business partners using programs such as WinSCP, WinBatch.
Lead technical projects in alignment with global organizational goals.
Contribute to the development of the site IT strategy, policies, procedures, plans and projects. To include ensuring systems meet the requirements for corporate IT standard.
Produce document standard operating procedures and work instructions of technology platforms and tools.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT capabilities with special emphasis project management and systems to support site operations.

Demonstrated ability in the management of high quality IT systems and applications.
Ability to manage IT projects with heavy interacting with internal and external partners and contractors.
Strong personal accountability and motivation; team oriented.
Strong Project Management skills.
From time-time, may be required to provide after-hours support for systems and servers. Must be available after hours, weekends and holidays to respond to trouble calls.
Excellent communication skills, especially phone manner and understanding of customer relations and customer-oriented service practices.
Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Skills/Requirements
Required Education, Experience Training
Bachelors degree in IT or MIS required
At least five years' experience of implementing and running IT applications (within the Pharmaceutical industry is a plus).
Overall knowledge of technical infrastructure and state-of-the-art business IT systems.
Ability to communicate and work within an international context and with various hardware and software suppliers.
Operational experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
