Benefits Manager

Our client is seeking a Benefits Manager. This individual will be responsible for employee health and welfare benefit functions that support the organization's growth and changing needs. They will manage the day-to-day operations of the Firm's group health and welfare benefit programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, workers' compensation, life insurance, travel and accident, 125 Cafeteria Plan, 401(k) plan, and any other employee benefits); be responsible for researching new benefit programs; improve existing programs and supervise and monitor benefit administration, as well as enrollment.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' progressive and benefit design and management experience
BA in Business, Human Resources, Finance or equivalent.
CBP certification preferred
Prior experience with an HRIS database
Experience with self-insured plans preferred
Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Workers' Compensation, Medicare, COBRA, HIPAA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
