Job Description:
The marketing communications manager drives the development and execution of marketing communications programs to further sales objectives and increase mindshare and awareness. He / she has wide range of intra-and inter-departmental responsibilities communicating strategic messages and value of the Intacct solutions.

For external communication, the marketing communications manager will translate strategies into an actionable integrated communications and manage all aspects of implementation, including copy writing, collateral content, web presence, advertising, and customer and channel partner marketing. An ability to understand marketing metrics and develop a plan for meeting them is essential for success in this position.

Internally, the marketing communications manager will work closely with individuals from PR, demand generation, product management, product marketing, and sales. He / She must possess the skills to collect, consolidate, and filter content from these sources and turn this content into sales tools for our direct sales team and channel partners.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute marketing communication programs to drive awareness and support demand generation.
• Provide initiative, creativity and content for marketing collateral, including sales tools, product presentations, product demos and other materials that maximize the impact of our sales and marketing efforts. Manage process from concept to completion.
• Partner with web/online marketing manager to deliver programs to support SEO/SEM and social media objectives
• Author, edit and proofread marketing materials and web site content.
• Develop tradeshow strategies and execute from concept to completion.
• Develop creative briefs and work with creative agencies and in-house resources to manage process through execution.
• Manage MarCom plan deliverables to budget.
• Provide timely reporting of performance metrics, analysis of results, and benchmark against established goals.

Job Requirements:
• 8+ years of relevant experience as a marketing communications professional at a software company; SMB experience a plus
• Demonstrated track record of excellence in marketing communications
• Outstanding writing, editing and communications skills
• Demonstrated delivery of world class materials – collateral, presentations, advertising, etc.
• High level of creativity and initiative
• Strong MS Office Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities
• Creative and resourceful problem solver who's persuasive and willing to take risks.
• Organized, with the ability to keep a lot of wheels turning at once and stay on deadline.
• Bachelor's degree required and an MBA is a plus.
