Director, Marketing

Niara is looking for an elite Director of Marketing who wants to own and drive a critical piece of the business. The role's primary focus is on demand generation, requiring inbound marketing leverage and leadership across other areas of marketing. You will be responsible for building a pipeline of new opportunities through online campaigns and generation of qualified leads, prospect nurturing, and installed base marketing programs, and events. You will bring a data-driven and iterative "test, refine, repeat" approach to marketing.

A self-starter who enjoys fast paced start-up environments, you are creative and like to blaze your own trail rather than merely imitating your competitors. You are analytical, believe in learning through rapid experimentation and ascribe to 'fail fast fail often' mindset. You are equally comfortable operating as an individual contributor, cross-functional collaborator and team leader.

Responsibilities

• Own demand generation strategy, process, and execution.

• Plan and execute lead generation activities including marketing campaigns (e.g., email, webinars, social, events, content syndication, etc.), sales-driven teleprospecting, SEO, PPC, etc.

• Design, test, and execute lead nurturing / drip marketing campaigns to move prospects through the marketing funnel.

• Develop landing page content and employ A/B testing to ensure highest conversion rates.

• Oversee marketing database management including segmentation, contact acquisition, data cleansing, etc.

• Manage paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy testing, and landing page optimization.

• Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness.

• Collaborate with marketing and sales stakeholders, including external partners when appropriate.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent writing skills to drive strategic message to the target audience and matching verbal communication skills to present key metrics, recommendations, and campaign results to marketing team and executives.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Ability to support company's go-to-market strategy with focused marketing activities.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Personal drive and desire to continually learn, grow, and improve.


Experience

• 8+ years experience in B2B marketing and lead generation.

• Strong business and marketing acumen.

• Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM systems e.g., ActOn, Marketo, Salesforce.com.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiences in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or related field. MBA is a plus.

• Bonus points for security knowledge; online customer community products; experience in mid market / small enterprise marketing
