Director of Sales Automotive in Detroit, Michigan.
Our client is a fast growing company and leader in wireless semiconductors and modules for consumer, automotive and semiconductor markets.
Director Sales, Automotive will have account responsibility for existing and new automotive accounts. Responsible for OEM and Tier 1 automotive sales in North America for GNSS receiver and 2G/3G/4G wireless products and to establish and maintain key relationships with direct customers, industry influencers, and other industry participants.
Requires: Bachelor/Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 5-years of experience in sales of microcontrollers and semiconductors, and/or analog integrated circuits, ideally in the automotive industry.Although not required, existing automotive customer relationships, both on the OEM and Tier 1 level are desired.
Should have experience with GNSS and wireless technology in the automotive sector.Must possess a strong technical background with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Compensation - $156K base, + bonus (35-45%), + 15 days vacation, 100% health insurance cover, 12 days holiday, 3% pension and stock options. 30% travel in US, and occasional travel to international destinations.
