Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Part Time Brand Manager/Strategist for our technology client. The Brand Manager/Strategist's main responsibility is to develop and implement a core audio global marketing and go-to-market strategy for our clients' consumer PC speakers. The Strategist must lead the integration, execution and success of the holistic marketing plan within the regions. Your success will be measured on Brand Metrics (Awareness, Perception, Consideration), Purchase metrics (ROI, Market share, Loyalty), Organizational Effectiveness and Values.<br /><br /> The ideal consultant possesses a deep understanding of local market trends, has the ability to identify and champion business-building opportunities and collection of input from regional product managers, country managers and local marketing managers in order to build and drive programs.<br /><br /> Responsibilities:<br /><br /> Own the overarching global marketing strategy<br /><br /> Work collaboratively with the regional Consumer Insights teams to generate deeper consumer understanding<br /><br /> Track and report on business performance indicators<br /><br /> Be a trustworthy link between the regional business and the business group<br /><br /> Provide input to the regional business objectives and go-to-market approach<br /><br /> Create briefing to regional activation agencies and ensure excellent execution<br /><br /> Together with the GM, develop and execute media and activation plans <br /><br /> Test and refine marketing approaches to ensure relevance and fit within region (recommending deviation from global marketing strategy only as necessary)<br /><br /> Adaptation and localization of global marketing assets, as well as direction for media planning and buying<br /><br /> Marketing asset management<br /><br /> Brand custodian (ensure programs are on strategy and within guidelines) and approve all consumer phasing messages<br /><br /> Provide regular marketing analyses, including close monitoring of competitive activities, and recommendations for actions<br /><br /> Very close collaboration with the regional trade and channel marketing teams to ensure coordinated, impactful efforts at the retail level<br /><br /> Budget management<br /><br /> Skills:<br /><br /> Commercially oriented B2C marketer with minimum 7+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in brand management<br /><br /> Strong strategic brand/marketing vision that translates into excellent execution<br /><br /> Experience from trade and/or channel marketing<br /><br /> Experience working within an international matrixed organization<br /><br /> Demonstrated ability to develop and execute 360 degree marketing campaigns; experience in execution of strategic ATL media such as, print, online, packaging graphics, regional sponsorships and promotions. Working experience in media planning and buying.<br /><br /> Exceptional communications, presentation, interpersonal and team oriented skills. Fluency in other languages a plus.<br /><br /> A self-starter, hands on, thinks outside of the box<br /><br /> Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite<br /><br /> Music background a plus<br /><br /> BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Brand or similar preferred; or a combination of education and experience in a marketing position<br /><br /> <br /><br /> RATE: D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group <br /><br /> LOCATION: 75% offsite/virtual/telecommute/WFH, with ability to travel to periodically meet with client in Irvine, CA as needed.
