Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager, Events consultant for one of our technology clients in San Jose, CA. The ideal consultant has proven experience with all manner of marketing communications for events, including audience acquisition/demand generation with the goal of driving attendance.
Responsibilities:
Ensure business objectives are achieved according to the marketing strategy and plan
Work within a defined consistent process and framework for event marketing engagement results
Analyze online social/digital and various media marketing promotional campaigns for effectiveness
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver event marketing and communications plans while ensuring alignment with corporate and brand objectives
Create an effective audience acquisition strategy using target audience research, analysis and segmentation to drive event revenue and key success factors
Full program development and management may include:
Assist the Senior Manager in ensuring the message is on target with development and execution of the event theme online and at the live event.
Work with Solutions Market Leaders, Demand Planners and Creative Team on creating event messaging and imagery
Manage writers for all online and event marketing communication deliverables
Create a marcom timeline and track all marcom deliverables
Create an internal and external communications plan
Create an internal and external event website
Work with the Senior Manager Lead to help maintain registration website
Work with the Content Lead and Director of Events to create a content development website for presentations
Collaborate with Social Media Team on event websites and a social media plan
Oversee and maintain master timelines and production schedules from a marketing communications perspective
Skills:
5-7 years' experience managing integrated marketing communications programs for events. Must include recent experience working for at least one technology company. Agency experience a strong plus.
Must have marketing automation expertise: Eloqua and Salesforce.com preferred
Results oriented individual with proven ability to deliver on time and on budget
Strong project management capabilities. Must have the ability to juggle multiple, simultaneous programs.
Strong communications skills: Verbal, written, presentations, websites
Analytically oriented
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional PowerPoint skills
Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar
RATE: D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
LOCATION: 75% onsite at clients' office in San Jose, CA, 25% remote/virtual/offsite/WFH/telecommute. No phone calls, please.
HOURS/DURATION: Full time consulting project, January 1, 2016 – September 30, 2016.
