Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a full time Events Manager consultant for our technology client in Santa Clara. The Events Manager will deliver all aspects of corporate event logistics and management, executing marketing communications elements as defined by our client's internal teams, management of program registration sites for attendees and the overall program budget. The Events Manager will also manage all Partner relationships for our client's annual Summit.
The ideal candidate is a proven events marketing professional, accustomed to working in a fast paced, deadline driven, results-oriented environment. Must be highly adaptive, very resourceful, creative individual with a proven ability to drive measurable results.
Manage clients' events, including:
Manage and lead partner/sponsor relationships for Annual Summit. Scope includes communication with partner, vendor and internal teams. Determining logistical needs for 30-50 partners during Summit.
Assist Events Director with overall Summit responsibilities as needed
Tradeshows, 1-2 per quarter: 10 x 10 to 10 x 20 tradeshow booths
Participate in meetings with clients' internal teams to determine tradeshow strategy and logistics
Liaison with clients' Marketing team on program refinement and course correction as necessary
Manage overall program budget, measurement and metrics: Management of individual event budgets including post event tracking and reconciliation of budgets
Manage pre and day-of event tradeshow logistics
Manage event-related contracts and payments of each subcontracted vendor as necessary
Schedule, coordinate and communicate tradeshow timing and schedules with internal teams
Research, negotiate and secure tradeshow contracts, working with contacts on space planning, A/V, catering, insurance requirements, etc.
Manage all aspects of event signage, catering services, audio visual services and event collateral/promotional items
Assist with social media activity with regard to tradeshows, including writing
and maintaining content and providing updates to company website, social media sites and blogs
Execute Marketing Communications elements defined by clients' internal teams and processes
Collaborate with internal client stakeholders, deliver event marketing strategy and planning, ensuring alignment with corporate and brand objectives
Execute to program success metrics and provide tracking mechanisms, analysis and course corrections throughout programs
Assist Field Marketing team, as needed, on-site with Roadshow Events, 6-8 per quarter
Professionally represent Crawford Group and Client's brands at all times
Skills:
6-7 years of event logistics plus roadshow and tradeshow management experience, preferably in the technology sector. Must have experience planning and managing 2500++ attendee conferences.
Experience in strategic planning, preferably in the technology sector
Ability to work comfortably with executives and cross functionally with internal teams
Expert in tracking and reporting ROI analytics for events
Must be outgoing, self-motivated with strong organizational skills; must have the ability to come up to speed quickly and efficiently
Experience managing conferences, event/roadshow/tradeshow action items and updating key stakeholders as necessary
Ability to maintain master timelines and production schedules; maintain campaign/program calendars
Ability to coordinate all necessary services (e.g. transportation, electrical, shipping, networking, lead retrieval systems, cleaning, and truck interior refurbishment)
Experience managing program budget
Experience with event partner participation and logistics
Developer audience knowledge helpful, but not required
Bachelor's degree with Marketing or Business Administration emphasis preferred or equivalent experience
RATE: D.O.E., as w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
LOCATION: Fully onsite at clients' office in Santa Clara, CA. Ability to travel as needed. No phone calls, please.
