Technical Sales Manager
Consumer Electronics – Mobile, Wearable, IoT
San Francisco Bay Area
Our client is a global leader in the fast growing and innovative MEMS industry, headquartered in Europe. This position is responsible to grow and nurture strategic customer partnerships with company's solutions in Consumer Electronics (Wearable, IoT, IP Cams, etc.)
The Technical Sales Manager will….
• Expand use-cases and identify market needs to shape future product and solution offerings.
• Develop new / existing relationships in industry
• Leverage technical skills and experience to help customers solve needs
• Identify and frequently communicate customer needs and market trends to corporate headquarter to support introduction of new products specific to the focus marketing
• Expand corporate market penetration using strategic and value-based methodologies
• Liaise projects between customers and their EMS partners, corporate R&D, Product and Market Management
• Evangelize brand awareness and develop advocates with our Distributor and Manufacturer Rep partners.
• Be responsible for North America with a concentration on accounts in Bay Area and West Coast.
Requires degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or physics.
Must be knowledgeable in and have a connection in the Wearable and IoT industries.
Requires experience in development or sale of semiconductor products. Will have value-based, solution or strategic-selling skills.
Should enjoy solving customers' problems with the best solution, and have a continuous -improvement mindset seeking to be more efficient, fast and effective. Looking for a self-driven, motivated, a multi-tasker who works at a high output level, and can work in high-paced environments.
Strong listening and communications skills.
Willing to travel approximately 50-60%, and must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Compensation: $100k-$140k range – no bonus.
