We are looking for a Sr.Financial Analyst to work in support of the events marketing team at a global high technology company. The Sr.Financial Analyst will be responsible for tracking expenses against the events budgets, accruals, forecasting and reporting. <br /><br /> This is a 40 hr/week, 1 year role (extensions possible) onsite at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered. <br /><br /> Responsibilities:<br /><br /> • Obtain events team budgets and track budget details<br /><br /> • Report against budgets on a monthly and quarterly basis<br /><br /> • Track, in detail, expenditures against budgeted amounts<br /><br /> • Resolve all budget exceptions, working with the cross functional team <br /><br /> • Create accruals and forecasts, as appropriate<br /><br /> • Work with the enterprise financial systems: Oracle ERP and Hyperion<br /><br /> Requirements:<br /><br /> • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role, at a global high technology company. <br /><br /> • Detailed understanding of financial process flows and budget impacts<br /><br /> • Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion forecasting solutions<br /><br /> • Knowledge of GAAP accounting procedures<br /><br /> • Advanced Excel Skills (including pivot tables, vlookup, macros, etc)<br /><br /> • Organized, detailed focus, process oriented, and able to multitask. <br /><br /> • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, globally<br /><br /> • Bachelors degree (required), in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
