Position: Change Management Consultant w/ finance exp
Location: San Jose, CA
Contract: 6+ months (renewed quarterly)

The Decision Capabilities and Transformation team is seeking a Change Management Consultant to support key priority initiatives.
This position will be part of the Change Management (CM) team responsible for ensuring the desired outcomes of the key priority projects within their portfolio are fully realized through a strategic and thoughtful approach to change management, communications and collaboration.
Overview:
-Experience creating, planning, and executing to a clearly defined Change Management Strategy
-Has led and managed a cross functional change management team
-Developed an Impact Assessment and stakeholder analysis
-Able to define adoption metrics and execute to them at a program level
-Understands Next-Generation Change Leadership methodology
-Experience crafting clear, actionable communications ensuring consistency in group´s messaging

Responsibilities for this position include:
-Develop a Change Strategy and supporting CM work plan
-Create Stakeholder Assessment Plan and Assessment
-Identify Change Impacts across processes, systems, tools and people
-Define the As-is and To-be Value Package
-Execute on End User Adoption Methodology and Implementation Plans
-Build and manage the execution of the Communications Plan, including development of all key messages and communications ensuring consistent delivery of those messages aligned by the different stakeholders inclusive of Executive and End user communications
-Manage and execute communication events in different vehicles to ensure buy in penetration into a cross-functional community to raise visibility, promote and communicate about the changes in program and/or function (e.g. town hall meetings, round tables, focus groups, surveys, road shows, videos, brown bag meetings, Web platform, etc.) and partner as needed with project team or key executives to develop key messages and content
-Leverage creative collaboration vehicles to promote adoption ( VoDs, blogs, wikis, SharePoint sites, workshops)
-Partner with appropriate stakeholders to ensure efficient processes for development as well as the approval and launch of all communications
-Educate sponsors in the processes and techniques for effectively cascading accurate communications to the organization, and implement procedures to verify accurate and timely cascade of key messages
-Analyze, monitor, and drive Organization/People Readiness for Roll-out
-Develop and maintain content and messaging
-Gather and incorporate employee feedback (VoC) on communications and messaging and take to address mitigation plans to support continuous adoption efforts
-Manage Change Management Issues and Risks
-Coordinate Training materials in development with Training or other resources as required

The ideal candidate will have the following:
-8+ years related industry experience in change management encompassing process development, program and/or project management.
-Expert in Change Management methodologies, excellent project management skills, and deeply experienced in change communications with a track record of results
-Strong PowerPoint skills and solid presentation skills
-Teamwork & Collaboration - motivating individuals & partnership across Finance and other business functions outside of Finance.
-Influencing Skills - breaking through barriers, effectively influencing at all levels
-Troubleshooting, root cause analysis
-Communication Skills - Comfortable communicating to various levels of mgmt as well as leveraging appropriate communications vehicles
-Finance background strongly preferred
-Able to build trust and collaborate well across the project team, business stakeholders and sponsors as well as within the larger organization
-Extremely strong time management skills. Ability to function in a fast paced environment and prioritize deliverables under tight deadlines
-Comfortable with stress/change V Absorber rather than Amplifier
-Resilient and comfortable leading through ambiguity and flexible to change course based on business needs
- not looking for a coach profile
