Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Marcom Manager, Customer Specific Programs consultant for our client located in San Jose. The Marcom Manager will define, execute and measure customer-specific programs that achieve business objectives in support of our clients' corporate strategy. The consultant will serve as the primary communications interface to the Communications Business Unit, working collaboratively with a diverse team and under general guidance from global marcom to recommend and creatively implement the best mix of communications tools to describe and promote our clients' technology, products and solutions to targeted customers and key market influencers. The Manager will partner with members of the communications business unit to drive messaging as well as execute marketing plans, campaigns and launches, execute global marketing communications programs in support of defined marketing strategies. The ideal consultant has solid, broad marcom skills (online and offline), exceptional organizational skills, pays close attention to detail and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Specific responsibilities include:


* Develop cohesive communications, product, customer-specific and campaign global marcom strategies

* Drive messaging and program management and execution

* Develop detailed launch plans and creative briefs for key deliverables

* Leverage pre-defined processes and contribute with fine-tuning of processes and procedures with marketing and corporate communications teams

* Develop tradeshow and event messaging, strategy, budget, plans

* Manage planning meetings (may act as onsite show manager)

* Writing and editing of collateral, advertorials, web pages, etc.

* Review and edit materials for effective delivery of key messages and adherence to brand/trademark guidelines

Track deliverables using detailed tracking spreadsheet and Marketing Plan and measure/report on marcom programs (quarterly, campaigns, launches, tradeshows, events, etc.)

* Coordinate with internal departments, vendors and contractors to successfully develop, produce and deliver promotional materials on deadline and on budget (e.g., news releases, creative, print/web advertising, collateral, EDMs, homepage banners, webinars, tradeshows and event signage, collateral, etc.)

* Proactively seek understanding and demonstrate knowledge of our clients' products and solutions, market trends and competitive landscape

* Actively participate in communications/marketing working groups

Skills:


* 10-15 years of marcom program management in a high tech environment, preferably the communications infrastructure market

* Must have prior semiconductor experience

* Understanding of sales cycles and use of marcom as a tool to support the various phases

* Capable of big picture thinking while focusing on consistent implementation of details

* Superior project management, negotiation and organizational skills a MUST

* Must be extremely self-motivated and able to complete projects with minimal direction

* Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced, high pressure environment

* Good time management/prioritization skills

* Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar


Rate: $1800 per week, as a W2 employee of Crawford Group

Location: Onsite at client offices in San Jose. No phone calls, please
