Position Overview
The Marketing Manager, Demand Generation is responsible for planning, developing and executing highly effective lead generation programs that drive sales effectiveness and pipeline growth. This position is critical to expand and accelerate our sales and revenue growth. This role is accountable for lead targets, lead quality, conversion, program performance and assisting with various marketing operations functions.
Primary Responsibilities
• Responsible for implementation and management of demand generation marketing programs, including managing a measurable, repeatable, automated process for lead nurturing and qualification
• Continually monitor, analyze and tune campaigns using Marketo and Salesforce.com systems to ascertain when campaigns are successful or need to be changed to maximize ROI
• Deliver regular activity, ROI and performance reports, manage the tracking infrastructure for each program and summarize results with recommendations
• Manages the lead nurturing process, including quarterly updates, testing and ensuring success metrics are met
Experience/Skills
• 3-5 years' experience in demand generation marketing with preferably with one or more of the following:
o B2B
o Technology
o SMB
• Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo
• Strong analytic ability, including experience with sales pipeline and forecasting as well as measuring business results including lead flow, conversion rates, cost/lead, marketing ROI etc.
• Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education
• BA/BS degree
