Role: Channel & Customer Territory Marketing Manager

Position Overview:
Channel Impact is seeking an experienced field marketing manager to generate commercial business in sub-1000 accounts as well as state & local government and education (SLED) via a partner led channel strategy. In this role you will work hand-in-hand with sales and channel leadership in the Central Area of the United States to deploy a channel and customer demand generation strategy and manage a discrete set of partner relationships.
Travel is required with this position.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
Position Responsibilities:
• Own overall channel marketing strategy for the Central Area Territory (roughly sub-1000 Commercial and low-end SLED) business. Develop that annual territory marketing plan to support achievement of the territory's sales objectives and business priorities. Lead execution of all elements of the marketing plan.
• Lead and drive partner-inclusive demand generation activities such as e-marketing campaigns, social media, events, telemarketing, etc for both partner and end customer audiences
• Oversee key partner relationships with marketing contacts within the partner organization to support "marketing to" and "marketing through" the partner efforts. Help the partners to execute programs at the local level
• Partner with the field and channel sales directors to drive both customer and partner lead activities
• Allocated and manage joint marketing funds for key tier partners within the territory
• Drive national channel programs at the local level
• Report area marketing results
• Drive discrete set of local field marketing / customer-led marketing activities
Skill Set:
• 10+ years of channel and/or field marketing program experience
• Past experience in at networking company strongly preferred (Cisco, HP, Juniper, etc)
• Past experience working with sales and channel teams in a field marketing capacity is strongly preferred
• Influencing skills both with peers and senior level leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management, negotiation and decision making skills
• Demonstrates self-motivation, resourcefulness, takes initiative, and delivers consistent follow-through
• Flexible in fast-paced, changing environment
• Ability to multi-task while providing attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
