PROJECT MANAGER
(Onsite full-time in Mountain View, CA)
We are looking for a strategic Project Management Professional (PMP)® to join our Project Management Office. This position reports to the Director of Project Management, oversees multiple key projects within the organization, and collaboratively manages portfolios of internal projects.
As a Project Manager at CPP, Inc. you will be responsible for:
• Providing direct project management for assigned projects, including working with cross-functional teams to meet customer and corporate needs.
• Ensuring coordinated project releases in accordance with corporate strategies, priorities and established schedules.
• Using Agile and standard PM practices to assure professional, collaborative results and a positive client experience through all phases of assigned projects.
• Supporting project prioritization, resource allocation, business and technical requirements definition, project launch, detailed planning, execution, closure, and debrief. Use all standard tools for documentation and communication. (SharePoint, Office suite)
• Providing timely communication and status updates for all assigned projects.
• Building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
As a Project Manager at CPP, Inc. you will have:
• BS/BA and 5-7 years of project management experience
• Project management technical training/certification (PMP) is required
• Advanced user in Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate or better user of PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
• Solid understanding of technology and web-based solutions, computer-generated reports, and familiarity with IS requirements and systems
• Certified MS-Project user (or attain within 1 year)
• Certified SCRUM Master/Agile experience is a plus
• Experience with EPM tools (MS Project Server 2010 and SharePoint 2010) is a plus
and will exhibit:
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and adaptability with cross-functional teams and situations
• Excellent communication, planning and organizing, problem-solving skills, delegation, and facilitation at all organizational levels
• Ability to identify key decision-making points and get or make timely decisions successfully through influencing, team work, stress tolerance, negotiation, conflict management
• Mentoring project team members to optimize their contributions and grow from each experience
