Project Description:
Global team is developing a financial web application to be used by external clients. Technical environment includes .NET C#/ASP, SQL Server 2005, SSRS, SSIS. All development team members are expected to be "hands on" and participate in all aspects of development work.
Requires an experienced SQL Server developer with strong stored procedure development and excellent .NET C#/ASP development experience. The person needs to have excellent communication skills as close interaction with the business team is required for this position. Looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience, who is eager to take on responsibility and be part of a very dynamic team.
Position Functions or Responsibilities:
· Utilizes .NET and Silverlight experience on global web development team
· Provides hands-on SQL Server and .NET development
· Very proficient in writing SQL stored procedures, report writing, and extract development
· Ability to effectively multi-task assignments and remain calm under stressful situations
· Ability to adapt well to changing priorities, requirements and client deadlines
· Understands urgency of business needs and can adjust effectively to these needs
· Ensures all activities are being performed based on project commitments and communicates status to client sponsor or to business analysts
· Responsible for implementing and adhering to change management, risk management, and issue management
· Actively engages managers and other team members to interpret and finalize technical requirements and to ensure complete specifications for the development team
· Assists in testing activities as needed to ensure deliverables are met
· Provides support to the creation of technical architecture and technical design documents as required
Experience:
· 3+ years C#
· 5+ years .net framework
· 3+ years asp.net
· 5+ years SQL Derver development
· 1 year Silverlight
Additional:
Prior financial investment experience is preferred
