We are looking for an experienced email marketing professional who has worked with online retailing and/or BtoC marketing.
This is a contract role that could lead to full time employment with the client if so desired, or it can be a 3 to 6 month assignment. Either is acceptable.
You would be working with a team of marketers to support their marketing campaign efforts with an email component. This would include helping them to understand how email can be used to enhance their campaigns, defining and drafting the actual email content required, working with an email service provider for delivery and other technical resources for autoreplies, etc., and defining tracking and reporting to assess the email's effectiveness. These email communications are a key component of the client's customer "touch" and life cycle management.
The project requires someone residing in the Bay Area who can readily travel to San Francisco on a regular basis. Experience with email marketing is required to allow for a quick ramp up.
