Brand Project Manager-1111 

Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Brand Project Manager consultant for one of our technology clients based in Santa Cruz, CA. The Brand Project Manager will partner with the Brand Manager in maintaining and evolving existing and new brand programs. In all activities, the Brand Project Manager will support and represent our clients brand team mission: To help develop strategic plans and programs that differentiate the company brand and build its reputation.

The Brand Project Managers extended team includes Marketing Communications, and a broad cross-functional network such as legal, design, product development, and channel teams. Responsibilities and activities may be creative, analytical or administrative.

This role requires an agile mindset, intellectual curiosity, an extraordinary ability to influence and persuade, and most of all: Passionate dedication to the job.

Responsibilities:



Assume full ownership and responsibility for at least one of the programs listed below, but will also act as tactical project manager:

Editorial services (light writing and editing, development of glossary, voice and tone guidelines, and other resources to support the marketing teams)

Trademark management (allocate budget to registrations, make renewal decisions, co-lead the trademark clearance process)

Naming development (A-Z, from creative briefing to operationalizing the system and naming process)

Co-branding (develop policies, lead the endorsement process)

Video management (covered by a Brand Video Producer, may need occasional support)

Training and alignment (conduct Marketing and corporate onboarding session, design and implement a global alignment program)

Corporate social responsibility (leadership and strategy)

Brand research (in collaboration with other consultants)

Skills:

The ideal candidate is flexible, easy to work with and distinguished by:

5 years brand project/program management experience, for at least one technology company

Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, a firm command of grammar, light copywriting skills

Relationship-management skills: Must be able to influence, collaborate and build consensus

Ability to connect the dots, plan ahead, take initiative and think big picture

Creative problem-solving and the ability to create simple solutions to complex issues

Attention to detail, tactical follow-through on strategy

Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines through prioritization

Strong work ethic and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

Bachelors degree, preferably Liberal Arts major

Rate:

D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group

Location:

Primarily onsite at clients offices in Santa Cruz, CA, with some offsite flexibility. No phone calls, please.

Hours/Duration:

Full time consulting, October 17, 2016 - ongoing.
