Marketing Specialist, Enterprise Marketing
Location: Dallas, NYC OR Chicago
Timeframe: Now-January
Time Commitment: Part time
Channel Impact is hiring a part-time (20-25 hrs/wk) Marketing Specialist to provide marketing support to our high tech client. This is a jack-of-all-trades marketing role. You will have the opportunity to wear many hats and gain exposure and experience in various aspects of demand generation. The ideal candidate will be pro-active, eager to learn, and a self-starter who is looking to grow their career with Channel Impact.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
What you will be doing:
• Marketing Operations
o Assist with marketing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
o Create campaigns in the marketing automation platform and upload lists
o If you have experience with Marketo, that is a huge plus. If not, we will train you!
• Event Research
o You will be researching venues, developing invitations for events, tracking registration/attendees
o Investigating transportation options, selecting and ordering give-aways, coordinate shipping
• Digital Marketing
o Assist with execution and logistics of digital marketing programs
o Provide tactical support for email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, online events and live events
o Collaborating with the sales teams to collect contact lists for marketing efforts
o Collaborating with Digital Marketing leaders in support of campaign execution
• Budget Management
o Maintain and track budget to ensure compliance, using SmartSheets or Excel
• Teamwork/interaction
o Work closely with marketing and sales teams
o Develop and maintain relationships with local sales teams
o Serve as point of contact for internal customers to execute programs
The Ideal Candidate will have:
• Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the storage industry is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SmartSheets and Marketo
• Must be highly motivated; able to work independently; able to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Bachelor degree in English, Communications, Journalism or Business Administration
• A winning attitude!
