Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Graphic Designer consultant for one of our technology clients. The work can be done onsite at clients' offices in San Francisco or Pleasanton. The Graphic Designer will develop and create concepts and visual ideas for all forms of communication, advertising and promotional materials with a focus on interactive solutions.
The Designer will also support the Assistant Creative Director and Creative Director on information gathering with Marketing, Sales and other departments to support company-wide creative objectives. The Graphic Designer provides creative leadership on issues relevant to technical graphic design, works with Product Managers and others as necessary to gain understanding of technical issues.
The successful candidate is adept at using the Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud solutions.
Must provide online portfolio for consideration, consisting of the following:
Comprehensive web design
Branding
Illustration (plus)
Responsibilities:
Design and test new website user interfaces, concepts and designs
Collaborate with the Assistant Creative Director, production and development teams to implement new design projects
Work with developers to integrate new UI concepts
Champion consistency of web design practices, style guide and visual standards
Types of projects:
Web related design
Web, email templates
Image production
Concept work
Some print work
Skills:
5 years' proven graphic design experience, combination of in-house and agency background. Agency experience strongly preferred.
Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite
Comfortable working with a large number of stakeholders, including creative services/design teams as internal clients
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team-oriented skills
Strong organizational skills: Autonomous, thorough, systematic, orderly and detail-orientated
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Bachelors' degree in graphic design, visual communication, visual arts or related
Rate:
D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Location:
Fully onsite at client offices in San Francisco or Pleasanton, CA. No phone calls, please.
Hours/duration:
Full time consulting during standard business hours. November 1, 2016 – May 31, 2017.
