The Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an experienced Event Program Producer for our technology client in Santa Clara. This person will lead the charge in driving successful user conferences.

The ideal person will be creative, obsessed with perfection, and have a proven track record of driving and executing large user conferences for developers or a technical audience for a B2B enterprise technology company. The Event Program Producer will set strategy and be the hands-on operations lead in the day-to-day execution of the events and programs.

Responsibilities:

Strategic planning, execution, and oversight of annual user conference and other key events

Project management including planning, budgeting, execution, vendor management, contract management, and analysis and reporting

Work with Senior Event Communications Manager on communication plan and editorial calendar

Collaborate with and lead our event operations partner team with over 40+ team members and multimillion dollar budget

Drive an internal cross-functional team to leverage the infrastructure and processes required to successfully execute the event strategy and objectives

Responsible for being the conduit and consultant for all event production/management: audio visual, Internet, mobile applications, registration, housing, space allocation and all other aspects of the event

Manage all suppliers from initial briefing through on site delivery

Oversee external relationships (agencies, vendors)

Drive the entire event production strategy and execution for a wide variety of programs and audiences

Drive meetings internally and weekly vendor operations meeting

Collaborate with the Creative/Brand team to produce, improve, and track the attendee journey

Monitor, measure, and report event execution and results

Skills:

7-15 years successful event management experience, in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment

Passion and experience for managing a 7,000+ user or developer conferences with multiple events within a conference

Proven leadership and management expertise in bringing together large internal and external teams to perform an excellent event

Strong project management and interpersonal communications skills

Must be confident in managing vendors and internal teams

General knowledge about suppliers, new technologies and industry standards a plus

Obsessed with results and measuring program results impact

Must thrive on teamwork and overcoming obstacles together

Must have a sense of humor and play well with others

Creative thinker, open to idea exploration with strong problem solving/analytical abilities

BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other related field required

Salary:

Full time/direct/salaried. Competitive compensation package D.O.E., w2, and comprehensive benefits.

Location:

100% onsite in Santa Clara, CA 25% travel
