Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a part time Event Programs Manager for one of our clients based in Palo Alto. The Event Programs Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the companys growth through development and management of a variety of lead generation programs built around in-person and online events.
Working extensively with both internal and external stakeholders, the Event Programs Manager both defines and executes marketing programs, and is committed to generating high-quality results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver against the annual events plan for the organization
Logistics and event management for five different events between September 2016 October 2016
Research events based on target industries and verticals, develop the optimal events and programs mix, and secure executive buy-in on events plan
Leverage the companys content assets via promotional programs, including industry events, virtual shows and conferences, roundtables, executive dinners, customer events, webinars, and direct mail programs
Manage and negotiate agreements and contracts with vendors
Oversee all trade show visuals and collateral to ensure they are in line with the companys corporate messaging strategy
Manage all venue logistics before, during and after the events
Define and execute communications plan (emails, conference calls, etc.) to keep internal stakeholders informed about all information related to the event
Manage booth setup and breakdown, and actively participate in the staffing of the booth during events
Ensure timely follow up by the sales organization of leads generated from the programs
Manage the promo program, including the selection, ordering and shipping of giveaways and other promotional items
Skills:
5 years tradeshow and event logistics management experience, preferably for at least one technology company
Experience planning and executing event lead generation marketing programs
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communications skills, ability to work well with others
Motivated self-starter, able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce required, familiarity with Marketo a strong plus
Bachelors degree
Pay:
D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available)
Location:
75% onsite at client offices in Palo Alto, CA, remainder offsite/flex/virtual/WFH. No phone calls, please.
Hours/duration:
30 hours per week consulting, ASAP December 20, 2016. Potential to convert to full time/salaried employee of client thereafter.
