Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a part-time Tradeshow and Event Coordinator for our client based in Sunnyvale, CA.
The Tradeshow and Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and on-site management of our clients activities at industry tradeshows and events.
The successful candidate has proven success working remotely, is highly accountable, self-directed, organized and detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Establish event budget requirements and confirm available budget. Manage entire events budget including opening purchase requisitions and processing vendor payments.
Execute contracts and select space for chosen events (table tops, 10 x 10s 10 x 20s)
Build and manage relationships with event organizers or associations
Secure and manage all third party vendor relationships
Schedule internal planning meetings
Work with Director of Communication and Director of Demand Generation on best marketing methods for event promotion
Update client website with current event information
Secure staffing, equipment and technical resources
Secure hotel room blocks and register staff through event registration sites
Prepare and ship equipment
Manage exhibits, displays and demos, including the event inventory
Manage all on-site event activities
Skills:
3-5 years of corporate tradeshow and event logistics management experience
Excellent project management, time management and prioritization skills
Strong communications skills: verbal, written, presentation
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelors degree
Rate:
D.O.E. as a W-2 employee of Crawford Group
Location:
Primarily onsite at clients offices in Sunnyvale, CA, with some offsite flexibility. Minimal travel requirements. No phone calls, please.
Hours/Duration:
Part-time consulting, 20-30 hours per week. ASAP December 31, 2016 with possibility of extension.
