The Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a seasoned copywriter who has written for sexy consumer-focused technology companies with products that have a clear user-interface (examples: Apple, GoPro,FitBit, Beats by Dre, etc.).
Project:
Write and proof an online setup and user guide for cool new consumer products.
It's Yours if You Can:
Showcase 5+ years of consumer technology writing experience, with portfolio of cool consumer technical writing samples for leading consumer technology brands (Agency experience preferred)
Translate sometimes-complicated consumer and business technology language into precise, lightly-branded, user-friendly content.
Write fast, take feedback, and iterate quickly
Demonstrate experience with developing logical hierarchies of complex systems and processes
UI/UX or usability testing experience a plus
Fanatical about technical accuracy, writing style, and proofing
Self organized, self motivated, team friendly player
Bachelor's Degree in English, Writing, or equivalent work experience
Pay:
D.O.E., as a 1099 Contract
Location:
Remote/WFH or onsite at client offices in Newark, CA.
Hours/duration:
Part-time with potential for ongoing part-time work
