Let me introduce myself. I am Immanuel, a recruiter at Stage 4 Solutions, a marketing consulting and interim staffing company. We are looking for a Technical Writer for a contract role at a global high tech company. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating technical white papers and other documentation, for an IoT development platform. Prior experience with creating in depth technical materials for cloud, analytics or big data solutions would be highly preferred.
This is a 20 hours per week, 4 month project (extensions likely). Must be in the client's offices in San Ramon, CA approximately 1 or 2 days per week.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities:
• Create 3 technical white papers targeted to developers and technical audiences
• Create catalog of developer tools
• Work with internal teams to develop and deliver technical white papers through the review and publishing process.
• Develop other technical materials, as requested.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of technical writing experience for cloud, analytics, or big data solutions.
• Proven ability to create in depth technical white papers with illustrations and sample codes.
• Strong ability to interface with engineers and product management teams.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn new solutions and technologies.
