Windows Admin with VM ware skillset and DC assessment and migration experience
· Should have 6+ years of IT experience.
· Study the exist Data Centre setup and to design a migration plan for all Hardware as per the guidelines and EU norms and regulations.
· Setup infrastructure including power, space and cooling by liaising with different vendors at destination Data Centre for migration.
· Manage a team to check and monitor the progress to see all are within the time frame.
· Coordinate with all clients / owners of servers and other equipments for downtime for migration and conduct pre-migration checks.
· Working exclusively with a Data Center Migration team to migrate data center infrastructure and production servers.
· Manage a team to conduct deco servers and patches from source Data Halls.
· Conduct a QA for migrated equipments and hand over to the owners
· Installing and configuring Server Management of Windows 2008 R2, 2008, 2003 & Windows 2000 Server.
· Administration of Windows 2008R2, 2008, 2003 servers.
· Design and implementation of VMware Infrastructure.
· Having good experience in Virtualization - vSphere 4, Hyper-V, Virtual Infrastructure 3, vCenter, Storage Replication, XenDesktop, VDI.
· Strong knowledge on ESX servers & knowledge on VMware HA, VMware DRS,
· Resource pooling, Cloning and templates.
· Having knowledge in VMware ESX server 2.54/3.5, VMware Virtual Center; VMware Vmotion & VMware P2V
· Installation Planning, Administration, Maintaining, Implementation and Designing of various Projects where servers and storage of various make and model are used.
· Having core skills in Data Center IT infrastructure management and Data Center Design.
· Hands on in Data Center Capacity Planning and deployment.
· Having strong work experience in Data Center Resource management.
· Hands on exposure in Data Centre Process documentation and Monitoring.
· Hands on Knowledge in Data Center Health & Safety, Security and Access systems & management.
