JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for requirements gathering, technical planning and documentation, design, development, unit testing, implementation, maintenance, and support for enterprise middleware technologies including J2EE web services and TIBCO Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) components.
- Must be able to assist in performing ongoing analysis of system wellness through architectural reviews, activity monitoring, and design review sessions.
- Must be able to identify and comprehend elements of a problem, isolate and interpret implications, identify solutions, and work with the appropriate teams for resolution.
- The position requires a responsible, team oriented, security focused, well-organized individual with strong communications skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities.
REQUIRED SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES & EDUCATION:
- Hands on experience (3+ years) with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integrations (EAI)
- Ability to work all phases of a project including requirements gathering, documentation, design, development, unit and integration testing, and production support
- Good understanding of SOA/ESB, WebServer/AppServer, Java/J2EE concepts
- SQL knowledge and experience, Oracle is a plus
- Development & design experience using Java/J2EE
- Experience in integrating with external application using SOA architecture
- Proficiency with XML/XPATH and HTML
- Experience working with an end-to-end TIBCO solution is a plus
- Experience working with BizTalk is a plus
- SharePoint experience is a plus
- Siebel application knowledge is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to manage multiple scale projects simultaneously
- Proven analytical and problem solving ability
- Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly
- Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment
- Works well and respects other disciplines of the project teams
