· Thorough knowledge on PostgreSQL databases management · 3 to 6 Yrs experience on large enterprise environment on Database Management . · Must have the ability to do performance tuning / index maintenance to meet and assist the needs of the development teams using PostgreSQL as it's backend database · Ensuring auditing database consistency to ensure the same. · Must have experience in backup, restoration and replication of PostgreSQL database. · Designing and Managing PostgreSQL database schemas · Experience in Security access control · Experience with configuration management · Experience with version control · Experience with 24x7 zero downtime database management · Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes · Implement Database Change Controls · Application development DBA experience · Troubleshooting skills · Knowledge on Linux and Scripting(shell/SQL/Perl) · Administering large PostgreSQL database · Performance tuning and Index maintenance · Assisting and coordinating development team to fix the issue on database related errors · Backing up and restoring PostgreSQL database on demanded situation. · Designing and Managing PostgreSQL database schemas · Security access control · Experience with configuration management · Develop and Maintain version control · SQL scripting for the project requirements. · Ensuring 24x7 support, zero downtime database management · Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes · Implementing Database Change Controls · Application development DBA experience · Prepare operation procedure document and recording lessons learned. · Create and maintain documents up to date. Adherence of Operational Support SLA for maintaining high availability of the database and affected applications.
