Position Overview
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for all business and sales activities in your sales region. You will be focused on driving new business wins working with DotNetNuke Corp.'s marketing, lead generation and technical services teams. You will sell to inbound leads and proactively research, campaign and prospect named target enterprise companies in your sales region to drive revenue that meets and exceeds your territory objectives. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Responsibilities
* Work with sales management, sales engineers and partners to discover, qualify and close new business opportunities and drive revenue within your assigned region
* Sell license and Developer Support Services
* Execute plans to increase product exposure and identify key market opportunities and growth areas within your assigned region
* Act as a key liaison between DotNetNuke Corp.'s customers and internal cross-functional teams
* Expedite the sales cycle by demonstrating superior knowledge of DotNetNuke's products
* Achieve/exceed sales quota through a consultative and analytical sales approach
* Communicate the value proposition and Return on Investment (ROI) to perspective customers

Required Skills and Experience
* High-energy sales professional with 2 to 5 years of Web Content Management or Software as a Service sales experience preferred
* SELF-STARTING, DISCIPLINED and PERSISTENT personal style with an innate sense of urgency
* Focused and process-oriented approach to identifying and qualifying opportunities in complex, multi-constituent enterprise environments
* Open source sales experience a plus but not required
* Proven ability to drive and execute full lifecycle sales campaigns to closure in targeted enterprise companies
* Experience negotiating and closing enterprise and SMB level software license agreements
* Proven ability to capture new customers and build company brand equity (early stage business experience required)
* Strong technical acumen with proven ability to present and sell complex information technology products in a solution context
* Experience building a sales pipeline and positioning business to close
* Strong analytical skills that enable the development of a complete sales cycle
* Must be comfortable working at all levels of an organization
* Independent thinker with good judgment and proven track record in problem solving
* Excellent presentation skills, business writing skills and oral communication skills
* Must be capable of balancing general prospecting requirements, fulfilling customer needs and meeting company expectation and goals
* Experience using Salesforce.com as a CRM tool

Education: BA/BS degree required
