The role´s key purpose is to use analytics to drive the Marketing team to be data and insight-rich, learning driven, and impactful in changing customer behavior. This position requires passion and skills to convert data into insights and inspire organizations to take value-creating action from your insights You will be responsible for harnessing data from multiple sources to develop strategies for engaging, and more importantly converting, customer segments at various points in their lifecycle. Also responsible for analyzing complex business problems and providing recommendations based on data for key business decisions. .

Accountabilities:

- Creates holistic dashboards by pulling data from different sources and websites for presentations to Senior Management, eMarketing and User Experience groups
- Creates ad hoc reports and business forecasts to quantify the impact of development and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborates with external partners such as agencies and vendors to assist with data collection, reporting and campaign tagging.
- Exhibits a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple "listening posts" (websites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, market research, etc).
- Creates, refines and documents web analytics processes such as campaign tagging, data classification and dashboard creation.
- Directs external consultants in the creation of reporting and measurement solutions.

Deliverables typically include: daily, weekly, monthly reports (using excel, BI tools, ClickStream analystics); leads development of senior management dashboards; documents ad hoc website behavior and customer experience analysis; generates reporting requirements synthesized from multiple sources including product managers, development teams, and functional group members; maintains documentation relating to existing processes and suggestion/presentations for improving those processes; creates effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders

Required:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Quantitative Discipline, Statistics, Economics, Psychology or business
- 3-5 years experience in an eCommerce environment

Preferred:

- MBA
- 7 - 10 years overall experience in web marketing, with 3 - 5 years in a large ecommerce company
- 3+ years working with Omniture ClickStream analysis tools, and Google Analytics
- 2 years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and MVT testing, competitive analysis, surveys or customer experience tools.
- 2 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as SAS, Business Objects, Cognos etc with experience writing and tuning sql queries in an online or offline environment.
- 5 years experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills. Requirements include extensive experience with Pivot Tables, IF statements, Vlookups and nexted text parsing.
- 3 to 5 years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions/business units preferred.
- Expertise in the PPC, affiliate, email marketing and SEO strategies and a minimum 3 years experience measuring the success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns/efforts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
- Exposure to project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques a plus.
