SERVICES SALES MANAGER
Professional Design Services
Location: Dallas or Austin, TX

Summary
· The Services Sales Manager is tasked with aggressively developing and closing complex, large dollar services opportunities and selling the business value of our services to senior level executives throughout the Southern US in Aerospace & Defense accounts.
· Our customers are depending on Wind River to provide technical/professional design services that will enable them to get their product to market on time, under budget and with reliable features.
· You will be responsible to work closely with the details of the project itself and develop an understanding of the customer´s business and technical needs.
· You must feel comfortable with, and have experience selling at the VP level as these are the decision makers that need to be convinced.
· This person needs to take the initiative to leverage the resources and Wind River as a company (including the field) to grow the business.

Additional Responsibilities:
· Prospect pro-actively with Account Managers
· Business development for major Project Services opportunities
· Qualification of Project Services opportunities
· Formation and coordination of Services Capture Teams
· Development of Project Services proposals
· Discover unarticulated Services needs within customer base
· Negotiation of Project Services contracts
· Working with Project Managers/Customers after the contract is signed thru project completion to help insure a successful project.

Key Success Factors
· Revenue produced from Project Services Engagements based on assigned territory, service line or accounts
· Bookings for Services Engagements based on assigned territory/accounts
· Overall growth of Design Services business

Requirements

· BS or BA, MBA preferred
· Minimum 8 years in sales, 3 years in solution or services sales
· Business Orientation, Achievement Orientation, Presentation Skills, Team Orientation, Interpersonal Skills, Conflict Management, Tenacity, Reliability, Building Trust
· Experience either in services sales or project oriented/big ticket/mission critical product sales
