Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Real Estate Operations Manager to join the Real Estate Operations team, which provides overall management and direction of the real estate operations and administration team. This team develops, manages, and maintains the real estate and facilities teams' worldwide processes, procedures, systems, and information platforms to plan, manage, and deliver real estate and facilities services worldwide. The manager provides daily guidance and oversees personnel involved in lease administration, lease related accounts payable processing, process and project coordination, small field related projects, and routine reporting. This position also initiates, performs and manages various department initiatives designed to support and improve operational efficiencies, processes, and communications within the worldwide real estate and facilities teams which may include establishing and measuring key performance indicators, performing routine audits of project files and process flows, and trending real estate related metrics. The position also evaluates, selects, and manages vendors and/or vendor supplied information systems. The reporting aspect of this role requires the manager to work with key stakeholders to determine reporting requirements, engage team members and/or vendors or peer groups to query and assemble data, and analyze data to ensure the reports are accurate and meet requirements.

Specific Responsibilities:

•Direct, manage and supervise team members.
•Plan and develop projects, initiatives, and assignments to further develop the operating platform for the overall real estate and facilities program.
•Source, select, and manage key vendors for professional services and/or information systems.
•Act as system administrator for key real estate related systems such as project and site tracking, lease administration, access control, and team collaboration.
•Manage ongoing reporting requirements including developing new reports and/or refining existing to meet stakeholder needs, oversee periodic report production, provide quality assurance overview, and analyze data where required.
•Collaborate with other functional teams to accomplish departmental initiatives, meeting team objectives, and supporting worldwide team goals.
•Oversee worldwide compliance with processes, develop scorecards, oversee audits, and trend results. Recommend and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

•BS/BA in Business, Science, and/or Finance required. MBA preferred. Post graduate studies in real estate related finance preferred.
•Lease administration, program and project management, management information systems, reporting and analysis courses required.
•Industry certifications such as CoreNet MCR or SLCR preferred.
•10+ years in corporate finance, corporate real estate, commercial real estate, and/or program development and management required. Business system and reporting infrastructure development preferred.
•Corporate office tool suite such as MS Office required.
•Experience with financial or lease reporting systems required.
•Other experience with relational databases, reporting engines, and management information systems preferred.
•Experience as team leader displaying advanced communication, influencing, and collaboration skills required.
•Experience in managing real estate planning, delivery, and /or lease administration teams preferred.
•Strong verbal and written communications skills are required.
