Job Description:
The Manager, Corporate Workplace Services will report to the VP, Real Estate and Facilities and will provide overall management of workplace support efforts for corporate service centers, field service centers, and headquarters locations. The Corporate workplaces currently include the San Ramon CSC, Pleasanton Stoneridge, Menlo Park Headquarters, Deer Park FSC, Boston FSC, Toronto FSC, and Ankeny Print Center. The Manager, Corporate Workplace Services will directly manage the San Ramon, Pleasanton, and Deer Park locations and workplace support teams, and assist as needed with Menlo Park, Boston, Toronto, and Ankeny.
The manager will be responsible for leading strategic planning efforts for corporate workplaces to support short-term and long-range plans based on corporate goals and growth objectives. The manager will also develop, update, and implement workplace policies, procedures and processes to ensure business objectives are met and best practices are applied.



The manager will also develop and oversee the annual corporate facilities operational and capital budgets and provide monthly reporting of progress against plan. The manager will interface with all levels of management to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure workplaces continue to support business objectives. The manager will also work with peer groups, managers, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure appropriate processes and procedures are in place to manage the workplace and staff. The manager will also participate in developing performance indicators to measure performance against plan which will also include the development and growth of workplace teams and personnel.



Additional responsibilities include either directly managing or assisting with requests for proposals, reviewing bids, negotiating terms, and project team management for workplace related programs and/or projects, providing guidance and direction to workplace personnel with respect to workplace management, facilities maintenance, mailroom services, reception services, emergency response, workplace safety, and access control. The manager will also work with other RHI teams to participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive environmental health and safety programs in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations for the San Ramon, Pleasanton, Menlo Park, and Deer Park locations.



The manager will partner with IT in providing ongoing facilities management and support for the Pleasanton Stoneridge property which houses one of RHI's data center. The manager will also work with landlords and outside vendors to implement and maintain the emergency preparedness/disaster response programs for each location, as well as oversee continued development and refinement of RHI's computer aided facilities management platforms, work item ticket systems, and access control systems.





Position Requirements:

•BA or BS degree required
•10+ years of progressive workplace management experience required
•5+ years as the overall workplace manager in a corporate office environment of over 250,000 square feet required
•3+ years experience with building systems capital projects and maintenance including critical facilities preferred
•Experience with Computer Aided Facilities Management Software required
•Experience with corporate security systems including access control, camera surveillance, and critical facilities security required
•Must be able to read, understand, and interpret blue prints and building plans
•Must have strong skills financial acumen and direct experience related to managing workplace budgets and operating accounts, headcount forecasting, and space planning
•Strong Excel, Microsoft Project, Word, Outlook, and other typical office software required
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
•Excellent communication and time management skills required
•Experience managing organizations comprised on direct employees and vendors required
